Dutch rail operator NS has launched a precautionary inspection of trains following an explosion in a stationary train near Castricum in the north of the Netherlands. It was caused by a faulty electrical component. One passenger was hospitalised, and three others were treated for smoke-related issues after the blast on Sunday evening, 29 June.
